In my Major Area Presentation (better known as a proposal), I presented an overview of my progress thus far toward my dissertation. Specifically, I highlighted key research in the literature, presented my research study on the perceptions of mental health counselors on the use of AI for deception detection in therapeutic settings, and discussed future studies, and my completion timeline.
