Specifically, I highlighted key research in the literature, presented my research study on the perceptions of mental health counselors on the use of AI for deception detection in therapeutic settings, and discussed future studies, and my completion timeline.

This invited keynote at AMAR 2024 discussed the pervasive nature of affective computing applications. Showcasing the wide reach of affective computing, I covered application areas from gaming and natural language processing to ubiquitous sensing and deception detection for mental health applications.
